In the late hours of September 1, 2026, Warm Springs Police Officer Chris Fisher was shot and killed in the line of duty, leaving behind family, friends, fellow officers, and a community forever changed by his sacrifice.
Just four days before his death, Chris had arrested the suspect on multiple felony charges, including felony obstruction and possession of a firearm during the commission of certain felonies following a confrontation with law enforcement. The suspect was subsequently released by a judge hours later on a $10,000 bond.
Chris deserved better.
